ABOUT EACH OF THE PROGRAMS

Baby Rhyme Time: Enjoy songs, finger plays and rhymes with your 0-5 year old while developing their language and pre-reading skills. Meet other mums, dads, grandparents & caregivers in these fun and interactive sessions. Free of charge / no cost

Circle of Security: Would you like to understand your child’s emotional world? Discover your child’s emotional needs and learn how to support your child to manage and process their emotions in a healthy way. Free of charge / no cost

Diabetes Support Group: Support and education relating to managing diabetes.

Parents Group: A structured social support group for parents which will give them the opportunity to meet new friends, share information and take part in activities that will enhance their self-esteem & life skills. Limited childcare is available. $2 per session

Seniors Group: A social support group for over 60’s with planned outings transported by Easy-Go Connect. Group meets at Marayong House for morning tea with an opportunity for information and referral and occasional guest speakers prior to outing. For more information and fees, please contact BACC

Sewing: A social group suitable for beginners – come along and learn how to sew or share your expertise with others whilst making new friends. $2 per class

Supported Playgroup: Provides a structured and positive learning environment in which 0-5 year-olds can socialise, play and learn. It’s a great way for parents/carers to meet and share experiences while they engage with their children using a variety of fun and educational activities. The group is facilitated by BACC staff who are also available to       provide advice and information on parenting issues and referrals to appropriate services where needed. Free of charge / no cost

Tai Chi: Useful as preventative medicine as well as restoring health after injury or illness. Tai Chi not only exercises the muscles, it twists and stretches all parts of the body. A massage for the mind, body and spirit. $5 per class

Triple P (Level 4) Positive Parenting Program: A 6-week program full of parenting tips which promote child development, communication skills and self-care for parents/carers. Free of charge / no cost

Tuning into Kids (Emotionally Intelligent Parenting): Tuning into Kids is a 6-week parenting program that helps parents to assist their children learn, understand and regulate their emotions. This is based on research confirming that children with good emotional intelligence often have better emotional, social and physical functioning as well as fewer behavioural difficulties.
